Mud Cottage; a Planning Initiative

Mud Cottage, a mud brick construction of some 28 square metres (internal) plus a verandah, was built without Council approval some time early this century, likely about 2007l; we all joke about it, but once they find out, you is in big doo-doos! They can request that the structure be demolished, which in the case of Mud Cottage would be a shame as it was well built, but the Council were not invited to the project, so they are understandably miffed.

So now we are talking to the Council about the options available to us to get some form of Class 1 status and a Certificate of Occupancy (approval to live in) for that building.

Below some 'before' pics; hopefully one day soon some 'after' pics. We have already selected the floor tiles and paint colour for the inside walls; its called Dulux Sandpaper - one small step for man etc etc etc.
